Students in Years 7 to 12 have an opportunity to participate in the Pillars Leadership program, which encompasses our Dominican values, fosters a culture of leadership, and provides students with a strong foundation on which to develop their leadership skills and strive for excellence in all they do.
The Pillars Leadership program is designed to equip students with the confidence and skills to empower them to pursue formal and informal leadership positions, both at the College and in the future.
Our Student Representative Council (SRC) includes our College, House and Sports Captains, and Voice, Veritas, Arts and Communications Leaders. While the senior portfolio leaders are Year 12 students, the SRC also consists of House Captains for each year level and Voice Leaders at Year 7 and 8. The SRC works together to represent the student body, drive fundraising initiatives, and promote involvement in events and activities.
Our four College Houses - Cassia, Dianella, Kurrajong and Waratah - undertake student-driven fundraising initiatives each year for organisations such as Caritas, the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project, St Vincent de Paul and Opening the Doors Foundation. Our student leaders plan bake sales, crazy sock days, clothing drives and other fun activities to engage students in their fundraising causes.
